MRA dress headed to ProRodeo Hall of Fame (by Johnna Espinoza)
Visitors to the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs, Colo., will get a glimpse of rodeo royalty when they stop by for a tour of the Hall this year.
Miss Rodeo America 2008 Amy Wilson has loaned her white, floor-length leather dress designed by Susan Rummel of Riding High USA to the Hall for rodeo fans to enjoy. The "Crown" dress was specially designed to match the Landstrom’s Original Black Hills Gold Creations crown Miss Rodeo America wears.
"After wearing the beautiful dress at the Miss Rodeo America Coronation and the World Champion’s Breakfast, I think the perfect place for it is in the ProRodeo Hall of Fame," said the Colby, Kan., cowgirl. "I have always loved visiting the ProRodeo Hall of Fame, and I’m excited and honored that my dress is going to be displayed in such an awesome place, right next to the very first Landstrom’s Miss Rodeo America crown."
